PROGRAM

GET IT TOGETHER

How It Works

If you’re a dog owner who’s struggling to find the time or motivation to keep both you and your dog active, you’re like so many others. Fetching provides busy people with an opportunity to exercise while looking after their pup’s well-being—bringing you even closer together in the process. Here are just some of the benefits of our programs:

  • Bond with your dog: spending structured, active one-on-one time with your dog is one of the best ways to strengthen your relationship (and make exercise more fun!)
  • Improve your dog’s behaviour: our programs provides access to a highly qualified Dog Trainer to help set the stage for you and your dog to get the most out of the program
  • Get fitness results: we’re a friendly, fun exercise program that will help you achieve your personal fitness goals
  • Have an incredible time: one of our top priorities is ensuring you and your dog thoroughly enjoy each experience with Fetching, and leave with a big smile on your face!

Our Programs

Programs are designed for all fitness levels. Whether you’re just starting to get in shape or looking for an exercise challenge, our trainers will ensure you get the most out of every class.

Programs are designed for dogs or mature puppies who have basic obedience skills and are looking to improve their behaviour in a structured environment. Does your dog knows his name, walk next to you (most of the time!), and sit & stay (unless a squirrel runs by)? Is your dog still working on recall (come), patience, and listening to you while there’s distraction around? Then our programs are for you. If you have a dog who requires one-on-one obedience training, contact us.

Exercise With Your Dog

This program is led by an energetic Personal Trainer who gives you both a challenging, fun workout you do side-by-side. The program includes master classes with an expert Dog Trainer to help set the stage for you and your dog to get the most out of the program. Click here for more detail or scroll down for schedule & pricing.

Tails on Trails

Looking to get out and about the city with your dog? Each week takes the group to an outdoor location in the East part of Toronto where you will hike with like-minded people, a group of dogs, and an expert Personal Trainer. Each program includes visits from our Dog Trainer who will coach you in how to improve your dog’s recall (come), how to read and respond to dog behaviour in off-leash dog parks, and help you address any specific behavioural issues your dog has developed. Click here for more detail or scroll down for schedule & pricing.

Pup-up Classes

Unable to our weekly programs but still want to get outdoors and get active with your dog? Whenever the weather is gorgeous, Pup-Up classes will “pop-up” in the East end of Toronto (Beaches neighbourhood). These spontaneous, social classes are a great way to take advantage of a free evening and lovely weather without the commitment to a regular program. Click here for more detail.

Agility

Jumps, tunnels, chutes, frames, weave poles, teeter totters… you love them, your dog loves them, and for that reason, we’re bringing you a course focused on agility. Improve your dog’s confidence, spend quality time with them, and give them a mental challenge unlike any other. Beginner & Advanced courses. Learn to Run with your Dog

This program is built for beginner or intermediate runners who want to learn how to run with their dog happily trotting along next to them, not darting off after the closest distraction. Early classes focus on equipping you with skills to keep your dog by your side. The program will teach you how to warm-up, run, and cool down properly, gradually building your cardiovascular capacity and helping you achieve your fitness goals. Once or twice / week programs available.

Private Obedience

Does your dog have specific behavioural issues you are looking for help addressing? A private class is a great way to learn the skills to help make your, and your dog’s life, easier and happier. We meet with you and your dog at a location and time that’s convenient to you and we start listening. 1-hour private sessions cost $80 + HST. Contact us to book.
